August Song – gat3keeper
August 3, 2006Everyone stays in August
Waiting and crying for the rain
But the glimpse of the sun
Shall no longer touch their eyes
Nor feel the mist
Of morning’s dew
Drops, drops, drops…
Slowly they fall
And as the dawn bid goodbye
To the tired night
They are shouting for my name
Then suddenly, I became the rain
And I gave them hope
I drenched their thirst
Their ultimate whore, became I
The warmth of the sun is imbecile
And the ray of the light
Became weak
As the story goes,
I’m their temporary hope
and everyone stays in August…
