Maybe if I close my eyes,
It will all go away.
Maybe if I tried harder,
I could be away.
Wishful thinking.
But at moments like this…
It’s bliss.
Maybe if I think less of you and more of me,
I could be away.
Foolish.
But for a minute…
It’s bliss.
When I was there.
Far.
Then I thought,
How it felt to let go.
Air rushing towards me,
As I fall.
As though the clouds,
Were within reach.
As if the light was just one stop
Ahead.
Then.
It is bliss…
